How the gaming floor is laid out
Slot banks take up most of the main volume. Table pits and the poker room sit off the open floor rather than in the main slot rows. Solar Arena groups 32 electronic play stations in its own bank. No. 9 Room handles high-limit Baccarat and Blackjack in private salons. Royal Room covers high-limit slots with VIP hosts. The racebook is inside MATCH.
Around the gaming area you will find MATCH (sports pub and racebook), RedBar Lounge a few steps off the casino floor, Kirin for sit-down Chinese, and Noodles to Go at a counter without leaving the building.
- Main slots — reel and video machines across denomination bands
- Table pits — 54 live games
- Poker room — seven tables for cash games and tournaments
- Solar Arena — electronic Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat
- VIP salons — No. 9 Room (tables), Royal Room (slots)
- Dining — MATCH, RedBar, Kirin, Noodles to Go
Slots — 935 machines and the Royal Room
935 machines split between reel cabinets and video screens on the main floor. Denomination bands vary by bank — check signage or ask Guest Services. The Royal Room is the high-limit salon with VIP hosts and a smaller, separated bank. Stay on the main floor for broader variety and lower entry. Head to the Royal Room when your budget supports higher limits and host service.
Featured titles
- Dragon Link — linked progressive family across a bank
- 88 Fortunes — Asian-themed staple on BC floors
- Lightning Link — hold-and-spin progressive mechanics
- Dancing Drums — fan favourite; Dancing Drums Explosion is a newer cabinet
- Buffalo Grand — Buffalo series volume play
- Wheel of Fortune — branded spinner with bonus wheel
- JJBX Rising Fortunes — newer cabinet on property materials
- Treasure Ball — additional featured title on the current roster
Main slots vs Solar Arena
Main slot banks run reel and video titles around the clock with no dealer — a solid pick for progressive hunters and title variety. Solar Arena runs electronic Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat with a live-dealer feed on selected games, so you can bet at a screen instead of waiting on a pit rail. Solar Arena stays open 24 hours except Blackjack. Main slots never close.
Live table games — 54 tables
Fifty-four live tables across the main pits. Limits are set at each game — read pit signage on arrival; Starlight does not publish a single minimum sheet online. Friday and Saturday evenings are busiest. Weeknight pits run quieter.
- Blackjack — main pit staple; good starting point for basic strategy
- Double Deck Blackjack — fewer decks in play; limits may differ from six-deck pits
- Roulette — standard wheel; easy to watch before you bet
- Craps — full dice table, loud on weekends; works well for groups
- Baccarat — pit version, overlaps with No. 9 Room; card trackers and higher limits
- Four Card Poker — house-banked against the dealer; poker rules without a room seat
- Ultimate Texas Hold'em— house-banked Hold'em at pit speed
Dealers run a steadier pace than slot autoplay. Craps and Baccarat fill first on weekends; Blackjack and Roulette offer the easiest walk-up seats. Ultimate Texas Hold'em on the pit is not the same as $2–$3 NL Hold'em in the poker room.
Solar Arena — 32 electronic play stations
32 play stations offer Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat through screen interfaces. Selected games connect to live dealers — bet on one game or spread across all three. Baccarat runs three versions: Commission, Non-Commission (bonus bets), and Dynasty. Live Blackjack, Live Baccarat, and two Live Roulette tables feed the arena.
Handy when pit waits stretch on peak weekends — you bet from a station rather than standing behind a rail. Open 24 hours daily except Blackjack. Confirm Blackjack station hours on the floor. Main slots remain walk-up with hundreds of titles if you prefer a spin button over chips.
VIP gaming — No. 9 Room and Royal Room
No. 9 Room — high-limit Baccarat and Blackjack in private salons. Royal Room — high-limit slots with VIP hosts. Ask Guest Services about host access for highest limits.

- One player per hand; check-raise permitted
- One 40-minute dinner break per patron; one player on dinner per table
- Missing three blind sets = cash-out; third man out rule applies
- Do not announce a possible Bad Beat during play — may void the jackpot
Ultimate Texas Hold'em on the pit is house-banked. The poker room runs player-versus-player cash games and tournaments.
